How does SJ deploy AI agents into live operations?

Deployment is the final stage of the SJ Digital Media Solutions implementation process, and it is managed as an operational transition rather than a switch-flip: agents move from trial into full production with the monitoring, supervision and tuning that keep live performance at the trialled standard.

Deployment covers defined elements:

  • Staged go-live: agents take full ownership of their channels and tasks in planned steps, by channel, by hour coverage or by traffic share, so operations absorb the change smoothly
  • Monitoring: live dashboards on response times, resolution rates, qualification quality, escalations and customer experience, visible to the client's team and to SJ
  • Escalation in force: the human-handover paths proven in trial operating from the first minute, so nothing the agent should not handle waits on it
  • Tuning period: an intensive early window in which real production traffic drives refinements to knowledge, phrasing and rules
  • Staff operation: the team working its side of the workflow, supervising agent output and handling escalated conversations with full context attached
  • Review cycle: performance reviewed against the pre-implementation baseline on a defined schedule, with the measured return, hours saved, response times, conversion, reported plainly

After stabilisation, deployments commonly extend: an enquiry agent proves itself, and follow-up, administration or additional channels join the system, prioritised by the same value chain evidence. For expanding clients, deployment also extends geographically, new languages and time zones configured as each overseas market opens, which is how a lean team stays responsive across a growing regional footprint.
