What is an AI readiness assessment and how does SJ conduct it?

An AI readiness assessment is the structured evaluation of whether, where and how a business should deploy AI, conducted before any commitment, so the decision to proceed is made on evidence about this business rather than enthusiasm about technology.

SJ Digital Media Solutions conducts the assessment through defined steps:

  • Workflow review: a focused pass over the value chain from online to offline, identifying where enquiries leak, where hours concentrate in repetitive work, and where standards slip under load
  • Systems review: the channels and tools in use, WhatsApp, website, social, CRM, calendars, documents, and their fitness for agent integration
  • Data and knowledge review: whether the product, pricing and policy information agents would need exists in usable form, and what must be structured
  • Team and process review: how work is owned today, and where the human side of an agent-supported workflow would need definition
  • Opportunity ranking: the candidate deployments scored by measured impact and implementation readiness
  • Readiness verdict: a plain conclusion, ready now, ready after specific preparations, or not yet worth it, with the preparation list where gaps exist

The output is a prioritised deployment map with baseline numbers, which, where the client proceeds, becomes the front end of the full implementation: the deeper value chain analysis, workflow setup, agent development, test and trial, and deployment.

The assessment's honesty is its value: businesses not yet ready are told so, with the specific gaps named, because SJ's systematic approach depends on deployments that succeed, not deployments that start.
